Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for predicting the occurrence of a predetermined phenomenon.SOLUTION: A computer specifies a predetermined event which is highly possible to lead to a predetermined phenomenon, and considering the number of occurrence and occurrence frequency of the predetermined event, predicts that the predetermine phenomenon occurs in the near feature. By repeating to add a first characteristic value when the predetermined event occurs and subtract a second characteristic value when the predetermined event does not occur, the computer defines an approach level PI to the predetermined phenomenon and, when the approach level PI exceeds a predetermine threshold value PIth, predicts that the predetermined phenomenon occurs in the near feature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
