Abstract:

To provide a micro fluid control device and a flow regulating method in which a diaphragm displacement condition can be maintained, a structure can be simplified, and damages in regulating the flow rate can be prevented.

A micro fluid control device body 11 having a capillary flow passage 5 and a diaphragm 7 displaceable with respect to the flow passage 5, and a pressing mechanism 12 to press and displace the diaphragm 7 are provided. The pressing mechanism 12 has a plate-like movable pressing member 14 having a swollen part 16 which is swollen in the direction separating from the device body 11. The movable pressing member 14 can press the diaphragm 7 as it is displaced so that the swollen part 16 is swollen toward the device body 11, and is stopped at the position at which the diaphragm 7 is pressed.
