PURPOSE: To suppress a halo phenomenon and flare phenomenon by forming a conductive film having permeability of light caused by producing an electron and having a refraction index smaller than a constitutional material of a dynode relating to this light in an electron incident side surface of the dynode.
CONSTITUTION: A conductive film 52, having permeability relating to light hνin and having a reflection index smaller than a constitutional material of a channel tube relating to light hνin, is formed in an electron incident side surface of a dynode 51. Even in the case that light hνin of passing a photocathode 40 as the light hνin arrives at an edge part, its peripherally positioned irregular part, etc., of the channel tube arranged in the electron incident side surface of the dynode 51, by light permeability of the conductive film 52, light absorptivity of the dynode 51, etc., light hνin again returning back to the photocathode 40 is remarkably reduced.
