PURPOSE: To simultaneously drive a separately excited buzzer and fluorescent indicator tube by a microcomputer without unstable sounding by a method wherein a timer interruption having a cycle of half the buzzer sounding cycle is generated, and the drive processing of the fluorescent indicator tube is synchronized with the timer interruption.
CONSTITUTION: When a system begins to work and a first timer interruption is generated, a process A is executed first, and then processes B-H are executed in turn from the left to the right every time a timer interruption is generated. When a timer interruption is still generated after completion of process H, the process A is executed again and after that the similar process is cycled. Thus, data are indicated on a fluorescent indicator tube according to the data set by a main program corresponding to action status after ON or OFF process of drive signal is executed against corresponding grid or segment. At the start of buzzer sounding a condition code of buzzer sounding is set by the main program and is reset when buzzer sounding finishes.
