Abstract:

To provide a method for producing a microfibrillated vegetable fiber used in a resin molding material with a low anisotropy of an elasticity modulus, for example after injection-molding, by efficient refinement of a vegetable fiber using a bead mill; to provide the resin molding material obtained by the production method; to also provide a molding material with a low anisotropy of an elasticity modulus, obtained by mixing the microfibrillated vegetable fiber obtained by the production method with a resin; and to provide a method for producing the molding material.

The method for producing a microfibrillated vegetable fiber comprises: a step (1) of preparing a suspension containing a vegetable fiber and water; and a step (2) of putting the suspension obtained by the step (1) and beads in the bead mill to fibrillate them.
