Title:
MICROORGANISM-TREATMENT METHOD FOR SOIL POLLUTED WITH ORGANIC CHLORINE COMPOUND
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3176849
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microorganism-treatment method which decomposes highly concentrated chlorinated ethylenes in soil efficiently, especially tetrachloroethylene.
SOLUTION: Soil polluted with tetrachloroethylene is placed in a closed container. When the soil is added with a liquid culture medium, an yeast extract, and an anaerobic bacteria culture solution for a decomposition reaction, tetrachloroethylene is dechlorinated almost stoichiometrically into cis-1,2- dichloroethylene, which is oxidation-decomposed below a soil environment standard by the further addition of phenol, oxygen, and an aerobic bacterium culture solution.
