PURPOSE: To provide the microscope controller which prevents the glare of stray light at the time of an objective change.

CONSTITUTION: This microscope controller is equipped with a lamp 14 for lighting, a motor-driven revolver 2, a microscope control means 7 which controls the lamp 14 for lighting and motor-driven revolver 2, and an operation part 6 which supplies a driving command for the motor-driven revolver 2. The motor- driven revolver 2 is equipped with a revolver 52 which holds an objective 51. When the driving command for the motor-driven revolver 2 is supplied from the operation part 6, the microscope control means 7 turns OFF the lamp 14 for lighting and drives the motor-driven revolver 2 a certain time (delay time) later. The delay time can optionally be set.
