Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave heating device having an excellent antibacterial effect, which can suitably obtain a denture capable of maintaining the antibacterial effect even when a mastication act continues.SOLUTION: A microwave heating device 1 comprises: a rectangular parallelepiped device body (an exterior part) 2; a heating chamber 5 provided at a substantially central part of the device body 2, in which a denture 4 is disposed in a state of being immersed in a room-temperature aqueous solution of silver 3; a pair of upper and lower microwave generators 6a, 6b provided at the upper part and lower part of the heating chamber 5, which supplies microwave from both upper and lower parts into the heating chamber 5 and heats up the denture 4 as well as the aqueous solution of silver 3; a temperature sensor 7 for detecting a temperature of the denture 4 or the aqueous solution of silver 3; and a control unit for feeding back the detected temperature by the temperature sensor 7 and controlling the pair of upper and lower microwave generators 6a, 6b so that the temperature of the denture 4 or the aqueous solution of silver 3 becomes lower than a softening temperature of the denture 4.
