To provide a composition which effectively radiates a mid infrared ray containing at a middle portion a wavelength range of 8-12 μm useful for a human body, in view of problems of a well known composition radiating a conventional far infrared ray, and an accessary using the mid infrared ray radiation composition.
A mid infrared ray radiation composition comprises mixing a hornfels particle of a particle diameter of 1-100 μm, preferably about 3-5 μm with a thermosetting resin particle, sintering and curing the mixture at a temperature of 150-180°C, preferably about 180°C. Further, an accessary using the composition comprises mixing a hornfels particle of a particle diameter of 1-10 μm, preferably about 3-5 μm with a thermosetting resin particle, in sintering the mixture at a temperature of 150-180°C, preferably about 180°C, sintering and curing the mixture in a mold of a shape corresponding to the body of the accessary such as a pendant, bracelet, a ring, and the like, or separately making an intermediate, filling it in a concave portion formed in the body of the accessary, sintering and curing the filler.
