Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly and easily determine a manner of pressing a desired operation knob at the present stage by setting on a display panel an operation display part which shows a manner of manipulating an operation knob for switching a display of a segment milage of a vehicle.
SOLUTION: A liquid crystal panel part 31 and an operation display part 32 are set on a display panel 30a of a milage meter 30 embedded in a lower part of a scale panel 20a of a speed meter 20. A segment milage display part 31a, a total milage display part 31b and a starting point-switched display part 31c are set to the liquid crystal panel part 31. The starting point-switched display part 31c displays starting points of different segment milage by segments A and B. When the operation knob 30c is pressed for a fixed time (e.g. one second), the segments A and B are switched from one to the other to be displayed. When the operation knob is pressed for a long time than the fixed time, a segment milage corresponding to either of the switched segments is displayed to the segment travel distance display part 31a. Which of the segment milage the display of the segment milage display part 31a is related to can be judged from the display of the segment A or B.
