Title:
MIST SCATTERING PREVENTION APPARATUS FOR PAPER MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3680046
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist scattering prevention apparatus for a paper machine, with which mist scattering outward in the axial directions of a suction roll and a wire roll is efficiently and surely recovered without requiring large sucking force and covering the spray part of a pulp suspension in the suction roll and the wire roll.
SOLUTION: The mist scattering prevention apparatus is equipped with a recovery duct 34 which is arranged at the end parts of the rolls 5 and 6 for supporting wires 3 and 4 in the paper machine, is opened toward a wire approaching part 51 of the wires 3 and 4 gradually approaching the rolls 5 and 6 and with a suction means 41 which is connected to the recovery duct 34 and sucks mist.
