To improve the quality of regenerated plastics by enhancing its purity, increase the regenerated amount (yield) and reduce the disposal amount, in a sorted separated regeneration process of the mixed waste plastics including a foamed styrol and other kinds of plastics.
This method for regenerating the mixed waste plastics comprises a crushing process 102 to crush the mixed waste plastics, a flotation sorting process 103 to charge the crushed mixed waste plastics into a stirring water vessel and float the foamed styrol while collecting it together at a prescribed place, a recovery process 104 to recover the floated foamed styrol and other plastics sticking to the foamed styrol, a crushing process 106 to crush the recovered foamed styrol and the other plastics, and a sieving process 107 to select the crushed foamed styrol and the other plastics into not less than two classifications by particle diameter.
