PURPOSE: To obtain a kneaded mixture having sufficient viscosity even in a low water mixed system, by combining a continuous mixer and a continuous kneader before and after a wet roll for applying the penetration coating moisture to a material mixture consisting of a powder and a mixing agent.
CONSTITUTION: A powder material and a mixing agent are sent into a continuous mixer 1 such as a ribbon type mixer and a sufficiently mixed to be continuously discharged in a constant amount. The resulting mixture is sent into a roll machine 4, in which paris of left and right rolls 3 are arranged in two upper and lower stages, integrally provided along with the mixer 1 and the material mixture comprising the powder material are compressed and sheared between pairs of rolls 3 while water 2 adhered to the outer peripheral surfaces of the rolls 3 is imparted to the material mixture by penetration coating to obtain a kneaded material. This kneaded material is further sent into a continuous kneader 5 to be kneaded and mutual powder particles of the kneaded material 2 subjected to the penetration coating of water 2 are bonded to limprove the viscosity of the kneaded material which is, in turn, extruded by an extruder 15.
