Title:
MOBILE DATA COMMUNICATION METHOD AND ITS DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3875369
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit data at a high speed in terms of transmission spectrums by assigning a plurality of symbols generated by coding a series of data to a plurality of carrier sound signals and transmitting simultaneously subsets of the carrier sound signals from a plurality of transmission antennas.
SOLUTION: A modulator 301 receives a series of data bits to generate a modulator symbol A and a symbol discrimination device 302 discriminates the symbol A in time series to provide an output of a modulation signal B. A data series outputted by using an R-S encoder 303 and a decomposing device 304 to apply sequentially coding and decomposing the signal B is given to an S/P converter 305, where the signal B is S/P-converted and 120-sets of XO-X119 are outputted. A distribution device 306 supplies M-sets of symbol clusters to transmission antennas 3091-309M via IFFTs 3071-307M. In this embodiment, M=4 is set and 5 symbol groups corresponding to 5 carrier sound signals, that is, 30 symbols in 120 symbols are fed to each transmission antenna. Thus, the device is accessible to the user in the mobile equipment through a radio channel at a high speed.
