PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a TV receiver incorporating a viewership limiting function by which program relating information is obtained without permitting a viewership limiting function to be meaningless and without permitting a viewer to execute a troublesome operation when an image is blocked by the viewership limiting function.
SOLUTION: A lating decoding means 13 compares a lating level which is set by a lating setting means 15 with that which is supplied by a data removing means 6 so as to block video display to CRT 5 by controlling a video block means 14 when the level of the latter is higher. Besided, a control means 18 controls a display means 17, supplies program relating information which is decoded by a program relating information decoding means 16 to a display processing circuit 4 and displays it on the screen of CRT 5. In the meantime, when the level of the former is higher, the respective video display blocks are decoded and also the supply of program relating information which is decoded by the program relating information decoding means 16 to the display processing circuit 4 is stopped.
