Title:
MODE CHANGEOVER CONTROL DEVICE OF HYBRID TRANSMISSION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3900138
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid increasing in size of a hybrid transmission by preventing the request of large torque to one motor/generator at the time of mode changeover from low to high.
SOLUTION: When mode changeover is performed from low mode to high mode at a synchronous point where both the motor/generator passing powers in the low mode and in the high mode are 0, the torque sharing of the motor/generator MG2 is larger than that of the motor/generator MG1, and the inner peripheral motor/generator MG2 is increased in size, thereby causing the increase in size of the hybrid transmission, together with excessive torque capacity of the motor/generator MG1. However, by performing mode changeover at a speed ratio "i" on the high side from the synchronous point, the required torque Tmg2 of the motor/generator MG2 is reduced by ΔTmg2, thereby enabling the reduction in size of the motor/generator MG2, and, therefore, the reduction in size of the hybrid transmission.
