Title:
MODELING LIGHT DEVICE OF SINGLE-LENS REFLEX CAMERA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6125132
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To put a subject in focus during short-range photography without peeping through the viewfinder and to facilitate operation such as the confirmation of a photographic range by forming the image of the focal plate of the camera on the subject with illumination light through the optical system of the camera.

CONSTITUTION: A flash device 2 is mounted on the camera 3 and the modeling light device 1 is rotated to a lighting position. When an illumination lamp 12 turns on at this lighting position, its illumination light entersf the ocular lens E of a viewfinder ocular part 33 to illuminate the focal plate C through a pentagonal prism D, and consequently the image of the focal plate C is formed on the subject O through a reflex mirror B and a photographic lens A. The focus is adjusted over a direct loop at the formed image and the photographic range is recognized. Further, photographic magnification is calculated by measuring the length of the image of the focal plate C. Thus, focusing and other operations are easily carried out during short-range photography without peeping through the viwefinder.
