Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new modified siloxane compound enabling to stably add the fluorinated compound, and useful for obtaining cosmetics having good skin affinity, good in stability, and high in adhesivity to skins.
SOLUTION: A modified siloxane compound having siloxane units of formulas I and II (R1, R2 are a 1-18C hydrocarbon; R3 is H, a 1-5C alkyl, a 1-5C acyl; R is a 2-16C divalent hydrocarbon; Rf is a 1-20C perfluoroalkyl; m, q are 2-16; n is 1-6; x is 0-50; r, s are 0-30; (r) and (s) are not simultaneously 0) and having a polymerization degree of 2-4000, e.g. a compound of formula III. The modified siloxane compound having the siloxane units of formulas I and II is obtained by reacting a hydrogen polysiloxane with compounds of formulas IV and V.
