Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct DSV control with low redundancy.
SOLUTION: A DSV bit decision insert section 11 inserts a DSV-bit to a received data string. A modulation section 12 has a conversion table. Each of the element of the table is an element which is uniquely. The table is used under a conversion rule such that the number of '1s' of the elements of the data string and the number of '1s' in the elements of a code word string to be converted are divided by '2' and each residue is 0 or 1, equal each other. A channel bit string is modulated according to the conversion table and he result is given to an NRZI processing section 13, where the modulated channel bit string is subjected to NRZI processing.
