Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the subject film excellent in moisture-permeability, resistance to water-swelling, etc., by using a specified polyol in production of a polyurethane resin film by a reaction between the polyol and a polyisocyanate. CONSTITUTION:A polyol composed of a random copolymer (preferably 600-3000 molecular weight) prepared by copolymerization of ethylene oxide and tetrahydrofuran in a molar ratio of (40/60)-(80/20) is reacted with a polyisocyanate (preferably 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate, etc.) preferably in an equivalent ratio of (NCO/OH)=0.9-1.1 in the presence of a chain- lengthening agent such as ethylene glycol and the resultant polyurethane resin is subjected to film forming, thus obtaining the objective film having preferably 20mum thickness, >=2000 moisture permeability and <=5 degree of swelling with water.
