Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the moisture-proof structure of a box by which the moisture-proofness can be improved and high moisture-proof effect can be obtained.
SOLUTION: A moisture-proof structure has an annular sealing material 4 which is provided in a junction between a cover 3 and a box main part 2 and tightly seals the junction when the upper opening of the box main part 2 is covered with the cover 3. An annular protrusion 9 which presses approximately the whole lower surface of the sealing material 4 is formed on the part of the box main part 2 which is joined with the cover 3. As the annular protrusion 9 presses approximately the whole lower surface of the sealing material 4 to compress the sealing material 4 when the upper opening of the box main part is closed by the cover, a sealing area is substantially increased and high moisture-proof effect can be obtained.
