Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture separator in which erosion is suppressed and the thermal efficiency of a plant is improved by efficiently separating moisture accompanying the steam introduced inside.SOLUTION: A moisture separator includes: a body 10 having a hollow shape, being disposed with a steam inlet 11 at an end part in a longitudinal direction and being disposed with a steam outlet 12 at an upper part; a moisture separation element 20 being disposed in the body 10 and separating the moisture from the steam introduced from the steam inlet 11; a current plate 31 being disposed at an upstream side in the flow direction of the steam in the moisture separation element 20 and being disposed with a plurality of through holes 32; and drain catchers 33 (41) disposed at the plurality of through holes 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
