Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain moistureproof paper excellent in moistureproofness, not causing blocking, recoverable as old paper.
CONSTITUTION: In this moistureproof paper having a moistureproof layer formed by coating base paper with an aqueous emulsion prepared by blending a synthetic rubber latex with a wax-based emulsion and drying, the synthetic rubber latex is obtained by subjecting a conjugated diene compound and another compound copolymerizable with the compound to emulsion polymerization in the presence of a neutralized substance of an alkali-soluble polymer.
