Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detach an adjusting nut and a tie bar without detaching a drive source for mold clamping and a timing gear to easily perform work for inspecting or repairing the adjusting nut and the tie bar without spending time.
SOLUTION: The mold clamping device of the molding machine has a guide member having a screw formed to the end part thereof, a mold clamping mechanism support member equipped with a guide member insertion member, the adjusting nut 15 threaded with the screw of the guide member on the back surface side of the mold clamping mechanism support member, the nut rotating gear 21 attached to the end on the back surface side of the adjusting nut 15, the timing gear 23 attached to the back surface of the mold clamping mechanism support member to be meshed with the nut rotating gear 21, and the press plate 16 attached to the back surface of the mold clamping mechanism support member to press the nut 15 so as to be positioned outside the outer periphery of the timing gear 23 as a whole between the nut rotating gear 21 and the back surface of the mold clamping mechanism support member.
