Abstract:

To provide a mold capable of efficiently and inexpensively casting a cast product excellent in casting accuracy.

The mold is provided with a flange part 12 having an abutting surface 121 to abut on another mold, and a recess part 11 having a molding surface, which is a cavity recessed back from the abutting surface 121. Fitting projections 122 and/or fitting recesses 123 are formed in the flange part 12. The fitting projections 122 or the fitting recesses 123 are preferably arranged in such a direction as to restrain deformation of the mold.
