Abstract:
To provide a mold opening/closing method and a control device for a mold clamp apparatus, capable of evading interference between a core and a mold while achieving efficiency of the opening/closing time of the mold clamp apparatus comprising the core in the mold and performing a core entering step and a mold closing step in parallel.SOLUTION: In a mold opening/closing control method for a mold clamp apparatus comprising a core in a mold and performing a core entering step and a mold closing step in parallel, a movement velocity of a movable mold 5 during the mold closing step from the mold closing operation start of the mold to the completion of the core entering step is defined as a first velocity, a movement velocity after the completion of the core entering step is defined as a second velocity, the maximum velocity of the second velocity is set so as to be made higher than the maximum velocity of the first velocity, and, when the core entering step is not completed, whether or not the movable mold 5 reaches at a mold interference position in which the mold and the core are interfered is determined.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
