To provide a mold structure which can perform uniform transfer efficiently by promoting flowing of a composition of a resist layer during imprint, an imprint method which has raised transfer accuracy by using the mold structure for imprint and a magnetic recording medium which has raised recording/reproducing characteristics, and its manufacturing method.
The mold structure for imprint is characterized in that it has a disk shape substrate; a concavo-convex part of a data area in which a plurality of convex parts are formed in the shape of a concentric circle along a circumference direction; and a concavo-convex part of a servo area which is formed by arranging a plurality of convex-parts in an arc toward a peripheral part of the substrate from nearly the center of the substrate, and comprising at least a preamble part, an address part and a burst part, and that at least a convex part of the preamble part satisfies |A|20 when an angle made by the arrangement direction of a convex part in the concavo-convex part of the servo area and the radial direction of the substrate is A().
