To provide a molded container used in heat cooking by a microwave oven, which is designed so that an opening can be automatically and stably formed as inner pressure increases by heating, without partially unsealing the container in advance, inner pressure can be expelled from the opening, and excellent tear resistance is also imparted.
The molded container 5 has a bottom face and a side face, and is sealed with a sheet lid 10 bonded in a peeling manner to a flange 6 so as to cover its opening. The sheet lid 10 of the molded container 5 is formed of a base material layer and a heat-bonding layer on the back face of the base material layer. A cut line 21 for tearing the base material layer by increased inner pressure is formed in the central area of the flat surface of the sheet lid. This cut line 21 meanders without its parts crossing one another and extends along a straight line connecting both ends of the cut line without overlapping.
