Abstract:

To form an annular molded body which does not generate cracks caused by a welding line at a cavity mold part formed in a cavity and is made of high-quality metal glass alloy.

A molding die 1 has a runner 9B and the cavity 11 communicating with the runner 9B, having an annular shape with a diameter made larger than that of the runner 9B, and having the same shape as that of the molded body to be formed in the inside of the die. A melt having a composition for forming the metal glass alloy is poured into the cavity 11 through the runner 9B, and cooled and solidified. The runner 9B is formed to have a conical-radial flow passage cross section having a diameter which is gradually increased toward the whole inner circumferential area of the cavity 11.
