Title:
MOLDING FOR HOLLOW SHAFT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3295683
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make comparatively easy and simple to remove, after molding, a glass pipe used as a core for molding of a hollow shaft.
SOLUTION: Many channel parts 2 are formed at the inside face of the heat resistant glass pipe 1 extending, for the almost over all length, to the direction of the axis of the glass pipe 1. Where a hollow shaft is mold by using the glass pipe 1 as the core, a stress concentration is occurred at the channel part 2 of the glass pipe 1, by a heat contraction caused during a cooling of the hollow shaft to the atmospheric temperature, to be easily broken the glass pipe 1 from the channel part 2. Thus, the glass pipe 1 is easily removed from the hollow shaft through breaking by a shot blasting or the like.
