Abstract:

PURPOSE:To obtain the title molding material being a yarn body containing a thermoplastic organic filament fiber and reinforcing filament fiber and having blend fineness more than a prescribed amount and further having prescribed thermally treated orientation index and prescribed maximum heat shrinkage at an elevated temperature in the above-mentioned thermoplastic fiber. CONSTITUTION:The aimed molding material being a yarn body containing a thermoplastic organic filament fiber (e.g. polyamide fiber) and reinforcing filament fiber (e.g. glass fiber) and having >=20% blend fineness or woven fabric, knitted fabric or multi-axial laminated cloth composed of the above-mentioned yarn body and being >=0.3 in thermally treated orientation index of the above- mentioned thermoplastic organic filament fiber and <=15% in maximum thermal shrinkage at an elevated temperature.
