Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten iron desulfurization method improving desulfurization efficiency of desulfurization treatment for molten iron without impairing dephosphorization efficiency.SOLUTION: A deoxidizer 8 is added to molten iron 2 in transferring the molten iron 2 after a dephosphorization treatment from a pig iron ladle car 1 to a hot metal ladle 6, and the molten iron 2 added with the deoxidizer 8 is subjected to a desulfurization treatment.
