Title:
MOLTEN SALT BATH FOR ELECTROFORMING, AND METHOD OF PRODUCING METALLIC PRODUCT USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3901133
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten salt bath for electroforming capable of electroforming at a low temperature, and to provide a method of producing a metallic product using the same.
SOLUTION: The molten salt bath for electroforming comprises lithium bromide, cesium bromide, a halide of alkali metal and/or a halide of alkaline-earth metal. Further, the molten salt bath for electroforming is obtained by mixing lithium bromide, cesium bromide, the halide of alkali metal and/or the halide of alkaline-earth metal. The method of producing a metallic product comprises: a stage where a resist pattern is formed on an electrically conductive substrate to expose a part of the electrically conductive substrate; a stage where the electrically conductive substrate with the resist pattern formed is dipped into the molten salt bath for electroforming admixed with the metal to be precipitated and/or the compound of the metal to be precipitated; and a stage where the metal is precipitated over the part to which the electrically conductive substrate is exposed.
