To provide the structure of a money-like object which can be easily manufactured even if the object has a multicolored pattern made of differently colored materials on a plate, and its manufacturing method.
The money-like object is composed of an outer frame portion 1 having a through hole 1h on a plate and an insertion portion 2 fitted into the through hole. The inserted portion 2 combines at least a first member 21 and a second member 22. In a part of the entire inserted portion (the part indicated by X), the first member and the second member are superposed on each other in the thickness direction of the outer frame portion. The first member is on the obverse 1a side and the second member is on the reverse 1b side. In the remaining part of the inserted portion (parts indicated by Y and Z), the first member penetrates through the side of the second member and the inside of the through hole and becomes exposed to the reverse side. The second member penetrates through the side of the first member and the inside of the through hole and becomes exposed to the obverse side.
