To improve operability in setting/releasing the view limitation concerning a monitor device integrated with a player.
The monitor device 60 integrated with the player includes: a monitor part 10 for inputting a video signal from an external part; a player part 30 for reproducing the video signal from a disk; and a selector circuit 21. The selector circuit 21 is arranged in the monitor part 10, so as to select the video signal input form the external part and the video signal reproduced from the disk by the player part 30, and to output the signals to a display. When the selector circuit 21 is selecting the video signal input from the external part, the setting/releasing of the view limitation is permitted with respect to the video signal. When the selector circuit 21 is selecting the video signal reproduced from the disk, the setting/releasing of the view limitation is permitted with respect to the video signal reproduced from the disk.
