To provide a monitor storage device which can store a monitor in emergency without mounting a complicated structure.

A monitor storage device 10, which stores a monitor, which is set in a storage part provided in a ceiling in an openable/closable state, in the storage part, includes: an opening/closing mechanism which rotates the monitor around a rotating shaft serving as a rotation center when the monitor is opened/closed; and a first monitor 22 which supplies a driving force for opening and closing the monitor to the opening/closing mechanism when electricity is applied. The monitor storage device 10 further includes: a normal power supply part 11 which supplies electric power to the first monitor 22; and an emergency power supply part 13 which supplies electric power for emergency to the first monitor 22 to make the monitor to be stored when power supply from the normal power supply part 11 to the first monitor 22 is interrupted.
