To provide a monitor storage device which can suppress looseness of a monitor without increasing a load on the monitor.
A monitor storage device 10, which stores a monitor 2, which is set in a storage part 5 provided in a ceiling in an openable/closable state, in the storage part 5, includes an opening/closing mechanism 20, a reverse energizing member (toggle spring 21), and a motor 22. The opening/closing mechanism 20 includes a plurality of gears which rotate the monitor 2 around a rotating shaft 3 serving as a rotation center when the monitor 2 is opened/closed. The motor 22 supplies a driving force for opening and closing the monitor 2 to the opening/closing mechanism 20 when electricity is applied. The reverse energizing member (toggle spring 21) adds an energizing force to the monitor 2 in the opening direction in a monitor 2-opened state, and adds an energizing force to the monitor 2 in the closing direction in a monitor 2-closed state.
