Abstract:

To provide a novel material for use as a semiconductor material or an electron transfer material which is easy to synthesize and has high charge- transferability, good processability, and improved oxidation stability.

Novel conjugated mono-, oligo- and polyalkylidene fluorenes, their production methods, and their uses as semiconductors or electron transfer materials in optical, electrooptical or electronic devices including field effect transistors, electroluminescent, photovoltaic, and sensor devices are disclosed. Furthermore, field effect transistors and semiconductive parts containing the novel mono-, oligo- and polymers are disclosed.
