To provide a monolayer organic photoreceptor in which wear of a photosensitive layer is effectively suppressed, tendency for deterioration in electrophotographic characteristics such as sensitivity by wear of the photosensitive layer is tempered, and durability is significantly improved.
In the monolayer organic photoreceptor having a monodispersion type photosensitive layer containing a charge generating agent, an electron transfer agent and a hole transfer agent dispersed in a binder resin formed on a conductive substrate, a copolymer polycarbonate having a specified structural unit expressed by general formula (1) is used as the binder resin and at least one kind selected from a group consisting of compounds expressed by general formulae (2a) to (2u) is used as the electron transfer agent.
