Abstract:
To prevent an overvoltage due to an induced voltage when a motor is rotated by an external force when an inverter is stopped.
A motor control apparatus includes a halt occasion speed control means which can reduce the rotational speed of the motor when a command for starting an inverter circuit is a halt command and when the rotational speed of the motor exceeds a given value. Consequently, when the motor is rotated by the external force, the overvoltage due to the induced voltage can be prevented by reducing the rotational speed of the motor even when the inverter is stopped.
