To suppress the fluctuation of a gap interval in the radial direction of two rotor parts in a superconducting rotating machine structured by arranging the two rotor parts in the radial direction by sandwiching a stator in between.
In the superconducting rotating machine 1A structured by arranging the two rotor parts 3 in the radial direction by sandwiching the stator 2a in between, the fluctuation of the gap interval in the radial direction of the two rotor parts is suppressed by supporting a rotor 3b provided at the outer circumferential side in the radial direction at both ends instead of supporting it at one end. As a structure of supporting the rotor 3b at both ends, double radial bearings 9a, 9b sandwiching part of the stator 2 are provided in the radial direction between the free end of the rotor 3b and a rotating shaft 3e. The inside radial bearing 9a supports the rotating shaft 3e rotatably to the stator 2, while the outer radial bearing 9b supports rotatably the rotor 3b having the free end to the stator 2.
