Abstract:

To provide a motor control unit of an electric reel for adjusting the output of a motor according to the pressing force in which the output of the motor is prevented from increasing more than that assumed by an angler.SOLUTION: A motor control unit of an electric reel 100 for driving a spool 2 rotatably mounted to a reel body 1 with a motor 3 includes a first press operation unit 11 and the motor control unit 16. The motor control unit 16 has output increase means, output limitation means and output maintenance means. The output increase means increases the output of the motor 3 according to the pressing force where the first press operation unit 11 is pressed down. The output limitation means limits the output of the motor 3 to the intermediate output, if the output of the motor 3 exceeds the intermediate output when the output of the motor 3 is lower than the predetermined output being smaller than the intermediate output and the output of the motor 3 is increased by the output increase means. The output maintenance means maintains the output of the motor 3 when the press of first press operation unit 11 is stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
