Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller capable of more promptly detecting a failure.SOLUTION: When steering speed ω is a steering speed threshold ω0 or less (NO in a step S2), an ECU determines that a motor rotates at low speed (a step S4). When a current command value Ia* is larger than a current command value threshold Ia0*, an actual current value I is smaller than an actual current value threshold I0, and the motor rotates at low speed (YES in a step S5), the ECU adds failure detection count CNT (a step S6). After that, when the failure detection count CNT is a failure detection count threshold Th or more (YES in a step S7), the ECU detects failures of a drive circuit and a current detection circuit (a step S8).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
