Abstract:
To provide a motor drive unit in which the DC voltage or the DC current can be stabilized.
The motor drive unit includes a power supply 1 for outputting DC power, an inverter 4 connected with the power supply 1, receiving DC power output from the power supply 1 and converting it into polyphase AC power to be output, a polyphase AC motor 5 being driven with polyphase AC power output from the inverter 4, and a controller 6 having a means for controlling at least the inverter 4 wherein a PWM signal for controlling the switching element of each phase of the inverter 4 is generated based on the target value of voltage of DC power, i.e. a DC voltage target value Vdc*.
