Title:
MOTOR-DRIVEN BRAKING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11180270
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent the generation of unnecessary braking force during the travel of a vehicle in a motor-driven braking device electrically generating braking force interlocked with a parking brake switch (PKB switch).

A motor-driven braking device is provided with a PKB switch 22 put in an ON state interlocked with PKB operation, and brake mechanism generating braking force to each wheel, with brake motors 40-44 as drive sources. The brake motors 40-44 are so controlled as to generate specified PKB braking force at the time of the PKB switch 22 outputting an ON signal. In the case of vehicle speed SPD exceeding the specified value even when the ON signal is outputted from the PKB switch 22, the generation of PKB braking force is inhibited.
