Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driver device reducing power consumption for controlling a timepiece motor.SOLUTION: The motor driver device comprises a timepiece motor driver 14 having a setting interface 16 and a component circuit. The component circuit includes configuration registers 18, 18,..., 18connected to a non-volatile memory 17, a memory controller 10 and the setting interface 16 and additional circuit configurations 18, 21, 11, 15 and 13 for detecting change in at least one of the configuration registers 18, 18,..., 18. The timepiece motor driver 14 is arranged to perform triggering of a refresh signal 22 only when change in at least one of the configuration registers 18, 18,..., 18actually occurs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
