Abstract:

To provide a motor equipment which is so structured that the moment of inertia is reduced by alloting the load to each of a plurality of motors, and the plurality of motors can be operated stably from a common power supply.

Motor equipment is structured so as to drive one and the same load by means of two motors joined with the shafts of motors 1, 2. Windings U1, V1, W1 of respective phases of a stator of one motor 1 are Y-connected. Windings U2, V2, W2 of respective phases of a stator for the other motor 2 are serially connected to the windings U1, V1, W1 of the stator of the motor 1 to be longitudinally joint connected. AC voltage of three phases is supplied from the other terminals U21, V21, W21 of the windings U2, V2, W2 of the stator of the motor 2 for driving the two motors 1, 2. Due to this structure, since the coil currents of respective phases of the two motors 1, 2 become completely identical, even if the two motors are supplied with a power which is common, they can be operated stably.
