Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a motor and its manufacturing method by which pole parts and non-pole parts are combined satisfactorily while an air gap between the pole parts of a stator core and a rotor core is reduced to increase a torque and, further, a sliding resistance at the time of rotation is reduced.
CONSTITUTION: The inner circumferential surface of a stator core 4 and the outer circumferential surface of a rotor core 7a slide relatively on each other. The non-pole parts 42 and 72 of the stator core 4 and the rotor core 7a are formed integrally with the pole parts 41 and 71 of the stator core 4 and the rotor core 7a form the same material as the pole parts 41 and 71 except the nonmagnetic crystalline structure. As the non-pole parts 42 and 72 have the same thermal expansion coefficient as the pole parts 41 and 71 and are formed integrally with the pole parts 41 and 71, a high strength can be obtained. Further, as the relative sliding surfaces of the stator core 4 and the rotor core 7a are completely cylindrical, excellent results such that a sliding resistance can be reduced substantially, the manufacturing process can be simplified and an air gap can be reduced to increase a torque can be obtained.
