Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a gate valve capable of coming out fine control of a fastening rate, easy to assemble and disassemble, has a valve element protected and improves in airtightness.
CONSTITUTION: A cylinder 12 having a slit 13 is provided on a stopper adjusting fitting 11, and screwed with a stopper feeding screw 19 of driving sleeve 3. A projection 18 is engaged with the slit 13, and a stopper 17 is assembled in the cylinder 12. The stopper 17 is vertically moved by the rotation of the driving sleeve 3. A rate of vertical moving of the stopper 17 is determined by rotating the stopper adjusting fitting 11, and thereby a rotation rate of the driving sleeve 3, that is a fastening rate of a valve body is regulated.
