Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of a motorized mold clamping device by a method wherein a toggle mechanism, which is arranged between a movable platen and a toggle support and moves the movable platen, and a servo motor arranged at the rear end surface of the toggle support are provided.
SOLUTION: At the rear end of a movable platen 35, an ejector pin feeding device 21 for projecting an ejector pin at mold releasing is provided. In the ejector pin feeding device 26, an ejector rod 27 is moved by means of a servomotor 32 for ejecting. Further, between the movable platen 36 and a toggle support 41, a toggle mechanism is arranged so as to develop a mold clamping force multiplied by a toggle ratio by driving a mold clamping servomotor 31 in order to move a cross head 38 for allowing to perform a mold clamping.
